- No. of Vacancy : 7416 Posts (6252 Posts for Male & 1164 Posts for Female)
- Pay Scale : Rs. 10300-34800/- grade Pay : Rs. 3200/-
- Qualification : 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University, and the candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.
- Age Limit : 18 to 28 years (as on 01.01.2016)
Nationality : Indian

For SC/ST/BC Candidates : 5 years
For Ex-Servicemen : 3 years

Selection Process : Selection will be made on Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Screening Test (PST), Interview-cum-Personalty Test, Substance Abuse (Drug Addiction) Test & Medical Examination.
Application Fee : Candidates belonging to General have to pay Rs. 400/- & Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/BC candidates through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card or Challan. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of application fee.
